News From Camp Little Seed

What's happening now

We have been busy at CLS!

We decided to use a smaller building with 2 windows as our cattery.

We partnered with our local (Bradford County) Humane Society and are currently fostering four cats. All four cats belong to someone who is in a health care facility and cannot care for them properly right now

They have been with us for about two months, and we will keep them as long as necessary - Until the person gets back on their feet and is able to bring them home.

They are all beautiful cats!

We also have plans to start construction of the dog house for our foster care program. They will be housed in the eastern section of the our pole barn building.

Growing Strong Together

We are a local community nonprofit. If you are interested in volunteering please send us your name, phone number, and email. Thank you and God bless!

All of us are hoping that all of you are staying well and healthy!

The Future

Camp Little Seed is collecting donations for our foster pet care home. This program will care for 20 plus pets (dog, cat, or other) while their owner is temporarily unable to care for their pet. Reasons may include hospitalization, intensive therapy, time in between homes, or any circumstances that separates a person from a beloved pet.  We understand that sometimes boarding or relative care is not available to everyone in need. Our services will provide a temporary solution so that people can be reunited with their pet when they are able.

We are remodelling and expanding the building indicated in red on the picture to be our pet home. Estimates for the work, including materials, electrical work, heating, kennels, runs and play area come to $29,432.00. Our goal is to raise this money by the end of April 2020, so we can start construction of a dog kennel and a cat house as soon as possible

In addition to all of your generous contributions, we are researching obtaining a grant to help us with our pet fostering program.

Please help us reach our goal so that we may help others as soon as possible during this troubling time!
